Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to patients in a care home or home care setting, ensuring their comfort and well-being. Duties

Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Maintain accurate records of patient progress and report any changes to the healthcare team. Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, fostering a positive environment. Ensure cleanliness and organisation within the care environment. Drive patients to appointments or activities as required, ensuring their safety during transit. Utilise IT systems for documentation and communication purposes effectively.

Experience

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. A good command of English is necessary for effective communication with patients and team members. Strong IT skills are preferred for maintaining records and using healthcare software. Excellent communication skills are vital for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
