We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, assisting with daily living activities and ensuring the well-being of our clients. Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Support clients in maintaining their independence by encouraging participation in daily activities.
Help with the preparation of meals and assist clients during mealtimes.
Monitor and document changes in clients' health and well-being, adhering to care plans.
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement care plans effectively.
Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring hygiene standards are met.
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Skills
Proficient in English, both spoken and written, to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Strong communication skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous.
Familiarity with creating and following care plans is beneficial.
Basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
