12.60per hour week days 13.10 per hour weekends, mileage paid @ 45 pence per mile.

UK Driving License & own vehicle required.

12.60 per hour (weekdays).

13.10 per hour at weekends.

Paid travel time & paid mileage (45p per mile).

Enhanced rate of pay at bank holidays.

Hours include earlies, evenings, and alternate weekends (or weekends only if you prefer).

To provide the highest standard of care and support to our clients and to enhance their wellbeing and to promote independence.

Care duties for each individual client will be clearly stated in their Care Plan and may vary depending on the client's needs, time of day of the visit etc.

Occasionally other care duties may arise that aren't included below and you will need to be able to adapt easily to take on these different duties if asked.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

? Meeting the personal care needs of our clients in a way that respects their dignity and promotes independence. The nature of care we expect you to provide is similar to that which would reasonably be given by members of the client's own family and will not involve tasks that a trained nurse would normally provide.

? Assist our clients who need help with getting in and out of bed, dressing, undressing, washing, bathing and using the toilet.

? Support clients with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including incontinence to use and look after aids and personal equipment.

? Provide care for clients who are temporarily sick and may need assistance with minor dressings, bed nursing, help with feeding, toileting etc.

? To help care for clients who are dying.

? Promote mental and physical well being of our clients through talking to them, taking them out, sharing with them in activities such as reading, writing, hobbies and recreations.

? Undertake light household tasks for example making and changing beds, tiding rooms, light cleaning such as dusting and vacuuming and emptying commodes.

? Assist with washing clothes and ironing if requested.

? Prepare and serve meals; assist clients with eating and drinking; wash up, tidy and clean the kitchen and dining area.

? Greet visitors and answer the telephone as needed whilst at the clients home.

? Read and write care reports, providing accurate and detailed information

? Maintain the highest standards of hygiene at all times and use the personal protective equipment provided. You should report any illness to the office so that correct infection prevention and control procedures can be followed.

? Comply with Radfield Home Care's guidelines and policies at all times.

? Report to the office any significant changes in the health or circumstances of a client.

? Encourage clients to remain as independent as possible.

? Report to the office immediately any events or situations that may pose a risk to our clients, their relatives or staff members. For example a faulty piece of equipment or broken step in a clients home.

? Attend staff and client meetings as requested

? Attend training courses and complete e learning courses as and when requested.

? Help to promote Radfield Home Care with marketing activities which may include leafleting

? Promote a positive personal / professional profile within the local community, ensuring the good reputation of the company at all times

? To come into the office at least once a week to collect and bring in client paperwork and to collect your rota and client information.

? To perform such other duties as may reasonably be required.
