Bank contract, zero hours per week, with flexible cover to include weekends, days, and night shifts.

Salary:

12.21 per hour.

About the Role:

We are seeking dedicated Bank Health Care Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis, covering holidays and sickness. You'll work alongside our experienced nursing team to deliver person-centred care that promotes comfort, dignity, and respect at all times, providing vital support to patients with complex palliative care needs.

What you'll do:

Provide personal care, supporting patients with their hygiene, nutrition, and comfort needs. Communicate sensitively with patients and families, offering emotional support when it matters most. Monitor and record patient observations, reporting any changes to the nursing team. Support patients and families at the end of life with compassion and dignity. Ensure accurate record-keeping and uphold confidentiality. Follow all Health & Safety, infection control, and safeguarding policies.

To do the role you'll need:

NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Experience in a care setting (health or social care). Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in palliative care. Flexibility to work across day and night shifts as required. Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable to have:



NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards it). Experience in palliative care. Phlebotomy skills. Ability to speak Welsh.
