We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to individuals in various settings, including group homes, assisted living facilities, and clients' homes. This role involves assisting with daily living activities, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, and promoting their independence while delivering high-quality care.

Roles & Responsibilities :



Supporting with daily activities and personal care.

Duties



Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation. Provide patient care and support in personal hygiene and mobility. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in clients' conditions. Implement care plans tailored to individual needs, including medication administration as required. Engage with clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and cognitive stimulation. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer's care, dementia care, and memory care needs. Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary. Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and social workers to provide comprehensive care.

Experience


Candidates should possess experience in caregiving or related fields. Preferred qualifications include:

First aid and CPR certification. Previous experience in home health, hospice care, nursing homes, or long-term care settings. Familiarity with patient observation techniques and monitoring. Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities. Knowledge of cleaning protocols in healthcare environments. This role is ideal for those passionate about making a difference in the lives of others while providing compassionate support in various caregiving environments.
