Are you committed to providing outstanding support and care?
The role of a Health Care Support Worker is vital to ensure we deliver safe, high quality care to our residents. You will provide professional, high quality support to people within the home and other environments in a way which maximises their choices and independence; allowing them to have a high quality of life and make their own decisions.
All packages of support are based on person centred planning, which means that they are tailored to the bespoke needs of the individuals. Working towards positive outcomes for these individuals - however large or small those might be - is the passion of the service, and the colleagues who work here, who are trained to deliver a wide range of support.
It is essential that you are:
Passionate about delivering high levels of care and supporting people with a range of mental health illnesses.
An effective communicator and listener.
Flexible in terms of delivering care within a variety of environments.
Able to work as part of a team.
Able to use your own initiative and work independently, under the supervision of a qualified practitioner.
Exceptional with your numeracy and writing skills.
Whilst experience of working with people who are experiencing mental health problems is not essential, it would be highly desirable. More importantly for us is that you are considerate, supportive and you listen and care.
