A really exciting opportunity has arisen for Health Care Assistants to join our inpatient services for people living with dementia in Uckfield.
Beechwood is a 10 bedded mixed Dementia unit where we look after patients with confirmed Dementia diagnosis and patients suspected to have Dementia. We accept patients from all over Sussex.
You will work as part of an interdisciplinary team including psychiatry, nursing, OT, pharmacists, SALT and drama therapy. The ward staff and leadership team are committed to providing person centred, excellent care for people living with dementia and the candidate would be encouraged to work with the leadership team to .

Work with the multi-disciplinary team to establish and deliver a therapeutic programme of care for patients with Dementia
Undertake a range of delegated clinical health duties in mental health settings

Assist the trained nurses for providing a holistic care for patients with Dementia and their families/carers
