We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to join our team, providing high-quality support to individuals in home care settings. Duties
Assist clients with daily activities such as personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility
Support clients in accordance with individual care plans, ensuring their needs are met effectively
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a caring environment
Administer medication as prescribed and monitor health conditions where appropriate
Maintain accurate records of care provided, adhering to organisational policies and procedures
Liaise with healthcare professionals, family members, and colleagues to ensure cohesive care delivery
Assist with light domestic tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and light cleaning
Drive clients to appointments or outings when required, ensuring safe transportation
Qualifications
Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
Valid driving licence is desirable for roles involving transportation of clients
Good understanding of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions accurately
Proficiency in basic IT skills for documentation and communication purposes
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to build rapport with clients and team members
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure consistent quality of care
Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals
