Health Club Receptionist (weekends)
Job Description
Pompey Health & Fitness (formally Roko Portsmouth) is a 2,000-member health club located at Portsmouth Football Club training ground facilities.
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated Weekend Health Club Receptionist to join the team at Pompey Health & Fitness.
This position would suit someone who is bubbly, enjoys working with people and has a genuine interest in the industry. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a willingness to gain further knowledge of the health club business. You will be able to work on your own initiative, as well as work effectively within a small team and be driven to maintain high standards. Most essentially you will have a desire to consistently provide excellent customer service at all times.
The role will involve looking after our members and guests on their arrival, as well as overseeing reception duties such as booking of classes, gym inductions, and swimming lessons, welcoming members and guests as well as supporting the sales team with membership enquiries. There will also be cash handling responsibilities.
The hours are part-time, working 2 weekends in every 3 on a rolling rotational basis; there may also be the opportunity to work additional hours on occasions to cover holiday/sickness.
