As part of the management team, you will help to lead the team at The Cheshire County Sports Club to drive the Health, Fitness & Wellbeing operations of the business forward and be flexible, reliable, possess good communication skills and enjoy getting stuck in
working as part of a team and leading the team
when on shift.
This is a multi-purpose role that requires the successful candidate to undertake every aspect of the club's operation as a leader but with a key focus on driving forward a huge part of our operation - Fitness.
This is a role for managing our Health, Fitness & Wellbeing department but also as part of your operational duties to assist with the co-ordination of the day to day operations of the site and as such supporting all department managers with Food & Beverage, Maintenance and Grounds/Sports/Development.
You will be passionate about providing a high quality visitor experience for all of our customers and ready to work hard to ensure our facilities are set up ready as required and with a high cleanliness factor.
Candidates will be highly organised with a can-do will-do attitude. Able to think on your feet, you'll confidently respond to the variety of day-to-day issues that arise in a busy sports club.
Knowledge of leisure operations is preferable but not essential but a willingness to undertake all operational aspects is ESSENTIAL.
A keen interest in Fitness is essential, as is the passion and ability/willingness to work hard to move Fitness @ The Cheshire onto the next level.
We are recruiting to fill this full time position. Shifts will be confirmed with the successful candidate but will include daytime, evening and weekend working as part of a rota during which you will be operationally responsible for this large site.
