About this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join Energise Me and apply your skills to engage more people in physical activity.
You will plan and deliver projects to help achieve the goals of Energise Me and the We Can Be Active strategy.
The role will be part of the Health team. You will work closely with the Head of Health and Strategy and the Health Manager to make it easier for people with long term conditions to move more.
Responsible to the Health Manager
35 hours per week, worked flexibly to fit in with the needs of the role
25 days paid holiday per year plus bank and public holidays (you will get 1 extra day of leave per full year of service, up to a maximum of 3 extra days)
Energise Me will pay 10% employer pension contribution
3 x Salary Life cover from date of employment underwritten by AIG Life

Main duties of the job
Main duties and responsibilities
Build relationships with health professionals working in local communities and work with them to include physical activity in their work
Increase knowledge, skills and capabilities of health and social care professionals to raise and promote physical activity with patients
Work with the Marketing and Communications team on campaigns to inspire people with health conditions to have active lifestyles
Celebrate and share stories about people with long term conditions to encourage engagement
Use insight gathered from people with health conditions to support the physical activity sector to provide the right offer
Coordinate networking opportunities to encourage the sharing of experiences
Work with the Health Manager to monitor and evaluate all activity, and apply learning to improve results.
