to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role is ideal for a competent H&S professional with a strong background in construction and a passion for promoting a culture of safety on-site and across all operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional Health & Safety advice and support across multiple construction projects.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations.
Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 Regulations and all relevant H&S legislation.
Assist in the development, review, and implementation of health and safety policies, procedures, and training.
Support project and site teams to embed a positive safety culture and best practice.
Report to the Head of HSEQ or appointed senior manager.
Requirements:
NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety (essential).
Proven experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction sector (minimum 3 years).
Excellent working knowledge of UK Health & Safety regulations and CDM 2015.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Membership of IOSH (TechIOSH or above preferred).
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
Desirable:
First Aid at Work certification.
Temporary Works or Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS).
