Health & Safety Advisor

Salary:

40,000 - 50,000 per annum

:

We are seeking an experienced Health & Safety Advisor to join a leading team in the demolition and construction industry. This is a hands-on role supporting the Health & Safety Manager in overseeing site safety and compliance across multiple projects. Ideal candidates will have a recognised H&S qualification and industry-specific experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Advise management on statutory safety, health, and welfare obligations Monitor and audit site safety arrangements, identifying improvements Create risk assessments and implement safe working procedures Liaise with site managers and external stakeholders to ensure H&S compliance Conduct site inspections, audits, and accident investigations Maintain knowledge of current legislation and advise on changes Promote the company's behavioural safety programme Support incident reporting and RIDDOR compliance

What We're Looking For:

NVQ 6 or NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety CSCS Card (Black or White - H&S Professional) Background in demolition, civil engineering, or construction Excellent written and verbal communication Proactive mindset with attention to detail Valid UK Driver's License
