We're looking for a proactive Health & Safety Advisor to support our Construction and Repairs & Maintenance operations. You'll help shape a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring our services meet the highest standards for our residents, clients, and colleagues.
What You'll Do
Champion SHEQ best practices across construction and maintenance projects
Lead site inspections, scaffold checks, and risk assessments
Support Health & Safety Committee meetings and accident investigations
Collaborate with teams and contractors to embed safe, compliant processes
Maintain ISO certifications (9001, 14001, 45001) and ensure regulatory alignment
Provide expert guidance and support across the wider SHEQ team
Experience and Qualifications
NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
TechIOSH status and IOSH membership
Experience applying ISO standards in construction or facilities management
Knowledge of CDM 2015, scaffold inspections, and asbestos in housing
Strong reporting skills and stakeholder engagement
Familiarity with social housing is a plus
Full UK driving licence (travel across Barking & Dagenham required)
