ESP Colour printing group, consisting of four manufacturing sites and two online businesses. Employing over 140 people, we have grown from a 13m Litho-only business to one of the leading & largest print businesses within the UK.

We are seeking a proactive and confident

Health & Safety and Facilities Coordinator

to support our commercial print business which operates across 3 separate sites. This is a key role in helping ensure safe, compliant, and well-maintained working environments.

While previous experience in health and safety is desirable, the most important qualities for this role are

initiative, confidence, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn

. You will work closely with external health and safety consultants who will provide guidance, training, and ongoing support.

This role would suit someone who is organised, practical, and comfortable dealing with people at all levels of the business

Key Responsibilities (across all 3 sites, supported by external consultants)



Health & Safety Administration



Act as the internal point of contact for health and safety matters Coordinate with external health and safety consultants and support implementation of their recommendations Maintain health and safety documentation, records, and policies Assist subject matter experts (e.g. machine operators) with risk assessments, method statements, and safe systems of work Support accident, incident, and near-miss reporting and follow-up actions Help organise and track staff training, inductions, and toolbox talks Monitor compliance with relevant legislation and internal procedures

Facilities Administration



Support the day-to-day management of site facilities Coordinate maintenance, servicing, and contractor visits Maintain records for inspections, servicing, and compliance (e.g. fire safety, equipment checks) Raise issues proactively and follow them through to resolution Help ensure all sites remain safe, tidy, and fit for purpose

General



Support implementation of our online H&S / Facilities management system and keep updated thereafter Support implementation of use of online tools to better manage H&S and Facilities related stakeholder relationships Build positive working relationships with colleagues and contractors Encourage good health and safety practices across the business Take ownership of tasks and follow them through with minimal supervision

Skills and Experience



Essential



Strong initiative and willingness to learn Confident, resilient, and comfortable speaking up when needed Good organisational and administrative skills Attention to detail and a methodical approach Ability to work independently and prioritise workload Good communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable



Previous experience in a health and safety, facilities, or compliance-related role Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment (e.g. print, production, engineering) Familiarity with basic health and safety principles (training will be provided)

Training and Support



Ongoing support and guidance from external health and safety consultants Training provided to develop knowledge of health and safety requirements
Opportunity to build experience and responsibility within the role

This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 20 per week Monday-Friday. We will consider different working patterns to suit the business and the successful applicant. ESP Colour Ltd currently operates from three sites in Swindon and this role would cover all sites.

Pay: 24,000.00-27,000.00 per year
