Hours: Mon-Fri, 7am-4:30pm

Lowfield Timber Frames is seeking a

Health & Safety Assistant / Trainee

to support our Health & Safety compliance. This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career or looking to move into Health & Safety within the construction industry.

You'll work closely with our experienced Health & Safety Manager, gaining practical, hands-on experience. There is the

possibility of studying a Level 3 Safety, Health & Environment Technician apprenticeship

if desired.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly compliance checks Supporting risk assessments and incident investigations Assisting with toolbox talks and site inductions Monitoring contractors and promoting safe working practices Supporting weekly fire alarm testing Providing general Health & Safety and operational support as required

TRAINING & DEVELOPMENT:

Full on-the-job training provided Ongoing mentoring and support from the Health & Safety Manager Opportunity to develop Health & Safety knowledge and site experience Potential option to study a Health & Safety apprenticeship if desired Long-term development into a permanent Health & Safety role

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

An interest in Health & Safety and construction Good attention to detail and willingness to learn Strong communication skills and basic IT skills A proactive, reliable, and positive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team
This role would suit a

school or college leaver, or someone looking to change career

and develop within Health & Safety.
