Responsibilities:

Assist in the development and i m plementation o f health and safety policies and procedures. Co n duct site audits, inspections, and risk a ssess m ents across depots and transport rout e s. I n vestigate incidents and near m isses, ensuring root cause analysis and corrective actions. Deliver toolbox talks and saf e ty briefings to drivers and operational st a ff . Maintain accident and incid e nt records and report to relevant authorities a s required. Support the i m ple m entation and maintenance o f quality standards (e. g . ISO 9001, BRCGS). Co n trol and m aint a in the co m pa n y' s Training m atrix. Co n duct internal audits a nd a ssist with e xt e rnal audits a nd a ccreditations . Monitor and report on KPIs related t o SHEQ performance . Prepare and p resent reports to senior m anage m ent . Mont h ly m eetings with t h e UK Head of Compliance Travel t o other Rhenus UK Facilities will b e require d Maintain docu m entation a nd recor d s to b e always audit ready

What You Bring:

Skills & Experience Required:

NEBOSH General Certificate o r equivale n t (pref e rred ) Experience in a transport, logistics, or fleet environment (pref e rred) Knowledge of UK SHEQ le g islation and standard s Strong co m munication and int e rpersonal skill s Ability to influence and e ngage staff at all level s Able to work independently o r as part of a Tea m Proficie n t in Microsoft Office syste m s
