SkW Construction Consultancy are seeking a part time Construction Health & Safety Consultant to join our expanding business. The role will involve working on an array of different projects ranging from Health, Education, Industrial & Offices.
Whilst we are North West based, this role will be home based and will predominantly involve projects based within the Midlands and possibly further afield and therefore a full, clean drivers license is essential. Mileage allowance will be paid.
The successful candidate will be able to:-
Conduct Site Visits and identify potential hazards and assess risks to ensure that appropriate safety measures are in place.
Ensure that construction projects comply with local and National Safety Regulations and Standards.
If required, provide training for contractors and managers to promote a culture of safety on site.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to effectively plan and organise own workload to meet deadlines
Good IT skills to generate reports and documents following site visits
Solutions driven
Extensive knowledge and experience within the Construction Industry, particularly site management and the CDM Regulations.
Experience of a diverse range of industry sectors desired, with a proven ability to meet Clients needs would be an advantage
Remuneration
Potential hours and remuneration to be discussed with candidates in more detail.
Pay: 30,000.00-50,000.00 per year
