This opportunity is being offered on a full time basis and the successful candidate can be based from either our Cardiff, Bridgend or Swansea offices.






About the role





The Health & Safety Coordinator supports both support services and central teams in health and safety matters, contributing to a safe and healthy work environment across Mirus. The role involves working closely with the wider health & safety team to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices. Responsibilities include developing relationships with internal stakeholders, providing proactive and reactive health & safety services, and supporting the overall organisational health & safety strategy. The coordinator also provides technical advice, quality assurance, and performance analysis in health and safety matters.

Key responsibilities




Generate regular health and safety reports, update accident forms, and assess risks. Conduct on-site inspections and investigations of routine health and safety matters. Coordinate the development of health and safety management data and reports. Deliver health and safety briefings and updates across the organisation. Liaise with external stakeholders and regulators regarding accidents and investigations. Manage routine health and safety enquiries and documentation requests. Assist managers with policy, procedure, and practice requirements. Lead health and safety sub-groups and support small manager groups. Provide desk-based support for compliance checks across regional offices. Act as a reference point for operational managers in support services. Support daily functions of the Health & Safety department and manage mailboxes. Monitor and disseminate safety alerts and notifications organisation-wide. Support annual housing reviews, equipment servicing, and facilities management. Coordinate fire risk assessments, PAT testing, and manage related actions. Liaise with external partners and manage contractor relations.
