Essential Qualifications, Experiences and Skills
A relevant bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, or a related discipline and/or substantial, recent, and relevant HSEQ experience
NEBOSH (National General Certificate) qualified or equivalent accreditation (desirable)
Train the Trainer qualification or similar (desirable)
Minimum of 3 years' recent experience in a Health, Safety, and Environmental role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, product, or industrial environment
Sound working knowledge of ISO standards (9001, 14001, and 45001) and UK SHEQ legislation
Demonstrated experience in conducting and monitoring risk assessments and audits.
Proven ability to advise managers and supervisors, conduct H&S investigations, and deliver effective training
Strong capability in developing, implementing, and reviewing Health & Safety policies and procedures
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HSE reporting systems
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
