In this role you will work to further develop and maintain the health, safety, quality and environmental procedures to support the Construction/Roofing divisions as a whole. You will act as health, safety and environmental manager for construction/roofing projects, undertaking audits and incident investigation, advising clients, stakeholders, customers and staff with regard to issues arising from company operations.
Your main focus will be auditing the performance of projects and core works against the Construction Directors performance criteria, investigating site incidents to ensure that corrective measures are put in place, and conducting internal and supplier audits involving site visits. Develop and manage a team going forward in line with business growth.

Your expertise will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' workplaces.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
Provide training and guidance to staff on health and safety practices.
Investigate incidents and accidents to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
Prepare detailed reports on health and safety performance for management review.
Collaborate with clients to enhance their health and safety systems.
Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices.
Requirements
Relevant experience within the Construction Industry
Safety Auditing
Environmental Auditing
Accident Investigation in a timely manner
Behavioural Change with staff and operatives
Experience of working with ISO 9001 and 14001
Qualifications
Tech IOSH
Nebosh General Construction Certificate or equivalent
Advanced Scaffold Inspection
Temporary Works Supervisor
