Job Description

Duties:

- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes and develop strategies for prevention
- Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees to promote awareness and adherence to safety protocols
- Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, and training activities
- Collaborate with management and employees to foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and changes in safety regulations

Skills:

- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards
- Experience conducting root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of accidents or incidents
- Proficient in first aid techniques and emergency response procedures
- Excellent report writing skills to document safety incidents, inspections, and training activities
- Strong communication skills to effectively train employees on safety protocols and procedures
- Detail-oriented with the ability to identify potential hazards and recommend appropriate corrective actions

- Construction Background/experience needed for this role
