My client is seeking an experienced Health and Safety Manager to bring expertise, energy, and leadership to their growing team. If you're passionate about creating safe, compliant, high-performing environments and thrive in dynamic construction settings, this could be the perfect fit for you.

As the Health and Safety Manager, you'll be the driving force behind all Health and Safety initiatives across a variety of mechanical, electrical, and building services projects. From CDM plans, policy development and site inspections to training and stakeholder engagement, you'll ensure a culture of safety is embedded throughout the business.

Key Responsibilities



Lead the development and implementation of H&S policies and systems across all operations Conduct regular site inspections. Conduct and review risk assessments, method statements (RAMS), and ensure all work is planned and executed safely. Investigate incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions Support project teams and subcontractors with expert advice and practical solutions Deliver training, inductions, and toolbox talks to staff and contractors Ensure compliance with CDM regulations and other relevant UK legislation Monitor performance and drive continuous improvement using safety KPIs

Key Requirements



Proven experience in a Health & Safety leadership role within Construction or Engineering. Health & Safety Qualifications - NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent (IOSH Chartered Membership desirable) In-depth knowledge of UK Health & Safety legislation (CDM Regs, RIDDOR, PUWER, LOLER, etc.). Strong background in Health and Safety within building services or construction (MEP experience a bonus) Confident communicator who can influence teams Hands-on, practical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving
This role will be based in Hillingdon but will require regular site visits across London. You must be within a commutable distance from the Head Office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 50,000.00-75,000.00 per year
