Expanded is a member of the Laing O'Rourke construction group, we are recruiting for a

Health

and

Safety

Manager at Sizewell C, Suffolk. The Expanded Group provides total capability in the early construction phases of major projects, providing an end-to-end solution or a bespoke choice of services. Backed by a central technical design and engineering resource, we can deliver the full range of piling, precast concrete, post-tensioning and structures techniques. The

professional will

lead

and manage

health

and

safety

delivery within Expanded and measure

Health

&

Safety

performance against strategic deliverables.

What will the role look like?

Provide local advice and

support

necessary to assist managers and staff to fulfil their

safety

responsibilities to the high standards demanded by the business. Facilitate and coach operational teams on

Inclusion

& Wellbeing and the respective engagement tools, which will allow the team to engage effectively with the workforce. Carry out relevant

Health

&

Safety

assurance

activities

, providing

confidence

to the business that operational effectiveness of all relevant processes are being delivered.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

Qualification at level 5 (min) Experience working on civils infrastructures projects Technical knowledge in Occupational

Health

Risk Management and Wellbeing Technical knowledge in

Safety

Risk Management Coaching / Training competence Assurance / Audit / Investigation competence Member of relevant professional body
