To stay ambitious, we need a Health & Safety Team Leader who will embrace our heritage as we look to elevate our future. Reporting into the Group Head of Health & Safety, this role is key for collating Health & Safety and Claims information for Frasers Group. Liaising with key business partners, store contacts and external bodies regarding compliance and claims defensibility matters.

Facilitating the coordination of Health & Safety compliance, managing Pre-Claim information and Liability Claims, within the team. Maintaining records and relevant information to support accident/incident investigations. You will support our Frasers Group Stores/Units with general Health & Safety/Claims queries, training and relevant information.

  • Monitor and review Asbestos registers with our external contractors and internal Facilities team. Liaising on surveys, remedial works and day to day actions.
  • Monitor data to analyse accident/incident trends and produce relevant reports as requested.
  • Record and maintain files of a confidential nature, including liaising with company legal representation and privileged information. Complying with GDPR protocols.
  • Collate and share key information in relation to all Liability Claims for the business, liaising closely with our internal Risk Management Team, Insurance and 3rd Party claims handling partners.
  • Make pragmatic decisions on pre-claim incidents to mitigate risk as required, building robust Claims Defensibility within our processes.
  • Initiating investigations and securing key documentation and information by following up on Accidents/Incidents. i.e. CCTV, Witness Statements, Training Records etc.
  • Deliver on agreed KPI\'s to support the Frasers Group Health & Safety team achieve their shared goals
Qualifications
  • At a minimum, you will have Supervisor/Team Leader experience
  • Educated to or working towards Health & Safety NVQ4/Certificate level: you have significant Health and Safety experience, ideally gained in a Retail/Logistics environment
  • A good understanding of EU & UK Health and Safety legislation
  • Experience in reviewing, writing policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment processes
  • You\'re comfortable communicating at all levels of seniority within a large organisation
