LSA - SEND Support (Mainstream College, Plumstead) A mainstream college in Plumstead is seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to support students with high needs studying IT and Health & Social Care. This is a full-time, classroom-based role focused on behavioural support. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm The Role: o Provide in-class support for students with SEND and high needs o Support positive behaviour, engagement, and participation o Work closely with teaching staff to implement individual learning plans o Help students develop academic, social, and independent learning skills o Maintain a safe, structured, and positive learning environment Requirements: o Experience supporting young people with SEND, ideally in a college or classroom setting o Confident in managing challenging behaviour o Patient, resilient, and proactive o Commitment to helping students achieve their potential This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a mainstream college, supporting students to succeed in both their studies and personal development.
