The Role:
We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable Health & Social Care Lecturer to join a supportive and forward-thinking teaching team. You will play a key role in shaping learners' futures by delivering engaging, high-quality lessons and providing meaningful support throughout their educational journey.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, prepare, and deliver Health & Social Care lessons across Levels 1-3
Support and guide learners in both academic and practical contexts
Track student progress and provide constructive, timely feedback
Create and assess course materials in accordance with awarding body standards
Keep up-to-date with developments in the health and social care sector to enhance teaching practice
Work collaboratively with colleagues on curriculum planning and quality assurance
Promote a positive, inclusive, and professional learning environment
Education, Skills and Requirements:
A relevant qualification in Health and Social Care (e.g., Degree, NVQ Level 3+, Nursing or Social Work background).
A recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
Experience teaching within Further Education or similar educational settings
Strong understanding of safeguarding and current industry practices
Excellent interpersonal and classroom management skills
