About the Role 
 You'll be delivering Health and Social Care to students across Key Stage 4 and Key Stage 5, helping them gain the knowledge, empathy, and skills needed for future careers in healthcare, social work, and related fields. 
Your key responsibilities will include: 
 Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for GCSE and/or BTEC Health & Social Care 
 Supporting students with coursework and exam preparation 
 Embedding real-world case studies to bring topics to life and inspire career pathways 
 Encouraging inclusive, respectful classroom discussions around care values, ethical practice, and safeguarding 
 Monitoring and assessing pupil progress and providing constructive feedback 
 Working collaboratively within the department to continually raise standards 
 Contributing to a positive and supportive school culture 
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 
 UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent 
 A degree in Health and Social Care, Social Sciences, or a related subject 
 Experience teaching Health and Social Care at KS4/KS5, including BTEC or OCR qualifications 
 Strong subject knowledge and passion for vocational learning 
 Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills 
 A commitment to promoting safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing 
 Enthusiasm for helping students explore future roles in the care and health sector
