We are passionate about creating healthier, more connected communities and offer a wide range of group-based and one-to-one interventions to support positive lifestyle changes and improved quality of life.
Purpose of the Position
We have an exciting opportunity for a Health & Wellbeing Coach to support and deliver a variety of community-based health initiatives. These may include sessions such as cancer prehabilitation, men's weight management, dementia-friendly movement, fitness for older adults, mental health drop-ins, and sport-based wellbeing activities. You'll work as part of a dynamic team committed to engaging participants in a safe, supportive and empowering environment, helping them to feel better physically and mentally.
Deliver and support a wide range of health and wellbeing sessions across Wyre, including some but not all:
Cancer Prehab- offering strength-based movement and wellbeing support for patients preparing for treatment
Men's Weight Management - leading fitness and discussion-based sessions focused on mindset, confidence, and sustainable lifestyle change
Dementia-Friendly Movement - facilitating gentle, engaging activities for people living with dementia and their carers.
Fit for the Future - supporting older adults through chair-based and functional fitness in a welcoming group setting
Mental Health & Movement Drop-ins, walk and talks - promoting low-pressure, informal sessions where physical activity supports emotional wellbeing
Football-Based Wellbeing - guiding inclusive football sessions aimed at improving physical and social health
