Boston United Community Foundation is seeking a passionate and motivated Health & Wellbeing Coordinator to lead the coordination, development, and delivery of our growing portfolio of health and wellbeing programmes.

About the Role
As Health & Wellbeing Coordinator, you will:
Lead the planning, coordination, and delivery of inclusive health and wellbeing programmes.
Develop strong partnerships with local health services, schools, and community organisations.
Support and supervise staff and volunteers delivering community-based activities.
Monitor programme impact and share success stories that showcase the power of sport and wellbeing initiatives.
Promote the Community Foundation's work through community events, social media, and local partnerships.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
Has experience delivering community health, wellbeing, or sport-based projects.
Is confident working with partners and managing multiple programmes.
Holds at least a Level 2 qualification in fitness, health, or coaching
Understands the health challenges facing local communities and is driven to make a difference.
Can work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends, to support community events.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
GENERAL
Support the recruitment, induction, and supervision of project staff and volunteers.
Maintain professional standards in all aspects of the role.
Undertake any training required to enhance delivery, safeguarding, and health knowledge.
PROGRAMME COORDINATION AND DELIVERY
Oversee the delivery of all health and wellbeing programmes.
Explore new opportunities to develop the Health and Wellbeing programmes
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive sessions in line with programme objectives.
Monitor attendance, engagement, and participant outcomes for all activities.
Ensure safe and effective session delivery, with risk assessments and safeguarding procedures followed at all times.
PARTNERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
Build and maintain relationships with local health partners, schools, and community organisations,
Attend strategic meetings on behalf of Boston United Community Foundation
MONITORING, EVALUATION, AND REPORTING
Use agreed tools to measure department and project outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reports for funders and stakeholders.
Gather and share case studies that demonstrate the impact of the programmes.
COMMUNICATIONS AND PROMOTION
Promote programmes through social media, newsletters, and the Boston United website.
Support the organisation of the annual Health & Wellbeing Matchdays
Attend community events and represent the Community Foundation to raise awareness of our health provision.
To develop and maintain a professional relationship with the relevant project information including regular communication of project activities and relevant information.
DEVELOP
To undertake personal CPD as appropriate to meet the demands of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
ESSENTIAL
Minimum Level 2 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., fitness, coaching, health promotion)
Safeguarding children and/or vulnerable adults training
First Aid qualification
DESIRABLE
Level 3 or higher in fitness instruction, exercise referral, or related discipline
FA Introduction to Coaching Football
Mental Health First Aid qualification
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
ESSENTIAL
At least 2 years' experience in delivering community health, wellbeing, or sport-based programmes
Experience coordinating multiple projects and/or staff/volunteers
Partnership working with health services, local authorities, or community organisations
Monitoring and evaluation of programme outcomes
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Ability to motivate and engage people from diverse background
Knowledge of health inequalities and barriers to participation in Boston
Ability to promote and maintain the integrity and reputation of Boston United Football Club, and Boston United Community Foundation.
DESIRABLE
Experience of working with schools and delivering educational workshops
Managing budgets and resources effectively
Ability to use social media and digital tools for promotion and communication
OTHER
ESSENTIAL
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends
Must satisfy relevant pre-employment checks including two satisfactory references and Enhanced DBS Check.
To hold a current full driving licence and ability to undertake any necessary travel in connection with the duties of the post

The employee is responsible for supervising any staff or volunteers while working on the Health and Wellbeing projects
VOLUNTEERS & WORK EXPERIENCE
The employee is responsible for working with the Assistant Community Manager and to help supervise any volunteers and work experience placements and integrate them into the work programme.
EQUIPMENT
Ensure you check and look after Boston United Community Foundation's equipment, which is necessary for the effective delivery of your activities.
MONITORING & EVALUATION
To assist with production of attendance registers to support project monitoring and evaluation.
