We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to join our award winning and well established Student Wellbeing Team as a First Contact Worker. The Student Wellbeing Centre offers support, advice or guidance with any challenges or difficulties students may face during their academic studies. Our support to students includes assisting with concerns around disability, specific learning differences, mental health or medical conditions, as well as anything which may cause emotional or psychological distress. We help to support students throughout their time at University, in addition to supporting them as they transition into University life.


You will provide first tier wellbeing support to students, as well as appropriate advice and guidance (to include low level interventions or referrals), onwards to second tier support, ensuring that our students' emotional wellbeing is at the forefront of our work. You will also design and deliver promotional material to help raise awareness of key themes, support our Welcome Week strategy and deliver key workshops throughout the year.
