Job description
Job responsibilities
Join our expanding Marie Curie night service in Cornwall and be part of a team that's making a real difference - our growth means we can reach and care for even more end-of-life patients across the county, providing comfort and dignity when it matters most. These roles are perfect for compassionate individuals who thrive working independently through the night, delivering high-quality care and support to patients and their loved ones during life's most challenging moments.
Hours: 22:00pm - 07:00am night shift
Contract: Part-Time Permanent (18, 27 or 36-hour contracts available)
Salary: Band 2 24,465 per annum, in line with NHS Agenda for Change (AFC) + enhancements and Marie Curie employee benefits package
Locations: Cornwall (You will work within a 25-mile radius from your home address)
As these are community-based roles, you will be responsible for planning your own work, responding to changes in patient conditions, prioritising care needs (including hygiene, nutrition and hydration, comfort, monitoring vitals, and more) as detailed in the personalised care plan and ensuring you escalate appropriately to senior staff within the multidisciplinary team in a timely manner.
