Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Senior Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in care homes and home care settings, ensuring their comfort and well-being. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to communicate effectively in English, possess basic IT skills, and be committed to following care plans tailored to each individual's needs.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility. Support the implementation of care plans by monitoring and documenting residents' progress. Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a high standard of care. Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents by adhering to health and safety regulations. Drive to various locations as required for home care visits or training sessions. Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving resident care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation. Ability to follow care plans accurately and provide personalised support. A valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel. A caring attitude with a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in your care.
