Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant and Gujarati?Speaker to join our team in providing compassionate care to individuals in various healthcare settings. Our companionship roles are between 2 to 8 hours and involve helping clients with access to community services to include outdoor entertainment activities.

Responsibilities

- Assist with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and feeding
- Support patients with mobility and physical therapy exercises
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Drive patients to appointments or outings when necessary
- Maintain accurate records and update care plans as required
- Provide assistance with medication administration and monitoring
- Utilize IT systems for documentation and communication

Requirements

- Experience in home care or a care home setting is desirable
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team and independently
- We have the following need for Gujarati, Mandarin, Somali, BSL speakers along with other languages. Let us know your second or first language for us to match you to specific clients.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
