Job Overview - Healthcare Assistant
We are looking for a caring and reliable
Healthcare Assistant with at least 2-3 years of experience working in a care home
to join our nursing home team. You will support residents with their daily needs and play a key role in making their lives more comfortable and enjoyable.Your Responsibilities
Provide personal care such as washing, dressing, and assisting with mobility. Follow and deliver individual care plans for each resident. Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff. Keep care records accurate and report any changes promptly. Support residents at mealtimes, including feeding when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive environment. Encourage and assist residents to take part in social and recreational activities. Use basic IT systems for notes and communication.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a care home setting (essential).
Good spoken and written English. Friendly, patient, and able to build positive relationships with residents. Ability to support and motivate residents through daily and social activities. Basic computer skills. A kind, compassionate, and committed attitude.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract
Pay: 12.21-12.22 per hour
