Healthcare Assistant (HCA) - Supported-Living & Community Care

14.50 - 18.00 per hour o Weekly pay o Flexible agency shifts

What you'll do day-to-day

Personal care & dignity support

- washing, dressing, toileting, continence care.

Medication prompts or administration

(after competency sign-off).

Health monitoring

- record temperature, pulse, respiration and NEWS2 observations.

Community inclusion

- accompany clients to appointments, college, social clubs and leisure activities.

Positive Behaviour Support

- use low-arousal techniques to reduce anxiety and challenging behaviour.

Household tasks

- light cleaning, meal prep and laundry to maintain a safe environment.

Accurate documentation

- update electronic care notes and incident logs in real time.

Emotional support & safeguarding

- build trusting relationships and escalate any concerns.
Essentials you'll bring

At least 6 months' care experience

(supported living, domiciliary, residential or hospital).

Enhanced DBS

on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).

Right to work in the UK

- we cannot offer sponsorship. Good spoken & written English plus basic IT skills for e-notes.

Reliability and a caring nature

- our clients depend on you!

Driving licence & car

preferred (mileage paid).

Care Certificate

or Level 2/3 Health & Social Care.

PMVA / MAPA / PROACT-SCIPr
