Healthcare Assistant - High Wycombe (HP13)
Immediate Start | Full-Time or Part-Time | Long-Term Role
Pay: 85 - 110 per day
Do you have a passion for supporting individuals with additional needs? A welcoming school in High Wycombe (HP13) is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to join their team immediately.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is caring, patient, and committed to promoting wellbeing and independence for pupils with medical or complex needs.
Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personal care and medical support in line with pupils' healthcare plans
  • Assist with mobility, feeding, and daily routines in a safe and respectful manner
  • Monitor and record health information, reporting any concerns promptly
  • Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and healthcare professionals to meet pupils' needs
  • Encourage inclusion and participation in learning and social activities
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in care or healthcare (school experience is a bonus but not essential)
  • Understanding of safeguarding and health & safety procedures
  • Empathetic, calm, and reliable approach to supporting vulnerable individuals
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Willingness to complete relevant training (e.g., first aid, manual handling)
