Healthcare Assistant
Job Description
The post-holder will work as a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) within the practice, supporting both nursing and administrative teams in the delivery of high-quality clinical and administrative services. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, the HCA will provide care within their scope of practice to the entitled patient population. Key Responsibilities Deliver and assist clinical staff in the provision of treatment, preventative care, health promotion, long-term condition management, and patient education. Support the administrative team as required to ensure the smooth running of the practice.
Work under the supervision of a registered clinician while developing competencies in community-based care. Operate at Support Worker Level in line with the NHS England Primary Care and General Practice Nursing Career and Core Capabilities Framework.
