We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Leicester, a catergory B mens prison located in LeicestershireHours -The site currently offers a shift based hours;7:30am - 6pm7:30am - 8pm1 weekend in 4 - 7:30am - 6pm37.5 hours total per week (full time)Bank shifts availableSalary -This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 328,690 per annum- depending on experience.How will we support you?

• Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
• Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required

• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment
• Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures
