The Team are here to support our patients through their personal cancer journey, providing a tailored care plan that looks after both their physical and emotional wellbeing.

Your role




We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our join. You will bring relevant experience and a flexible approach. You demonstrate patience, empathy and excellent communication skills. A real team plater, you have the diligence, IT literacy and a passion for development and training to make a difference to our patients.


As an experienced Healthcare Assistant, you will:

Have previous experience of working in an out-patient or day care setting. Be able to work flexibly Monday-Friday to cover services in the Chemotherapy Day Unit and the Phlebotomy and Outpatients Clinics. Support Care Delivery, treating patients and their families with kindness, dignity, respect and compassion and support them to cope emotionally with their care, treatment or condition. Champion safety; promoting good practice in infection prevention and ensuring a clear and safe environment for our patients. Deliver quality patient care and observation, in accordance with clinical protocols, contributing towards multidisciplinary team working.

Annual Salary: 24,749 per annum Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years' service) Pension: You will be auto-enrolled from day 1 at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will also contribute 6%.
