Job Description

Assist medical/diagnostic personnel in the care of patients to include treatment, preventative care and patient education oMRI and X-Ray assistance oECGs o24 Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring oEndoscopy assistance oMeasuring and recording blood pressure and pulse oHeight/weight/Body Mass Index measuring and recording oChaperoning and assisting patients who are being examined by a clinician, when required oProvide nursing treatments to patients in participation with consulting clinicians or independently to agreed protocols oAssisting with minor out-patient surgical procedures oAssist Consultant Radiologist with US and CT guided therapeutic joint injections oAssist in shockwave therapy treatments oAssist trained professionals with health screening programmes oAssist with the training of junior staff
Main duties of the job
The Health Care Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the clinical lead and undertake tasks and duties delegated by the operational lead and or clinical lead. He/she will work collaboratively with the diagnostics multi-disciplinary team to maintain a high standard of care under the direction of the operational manager, following the Company's policies and procedures at all times.
