We have an exciting opportunity for a Healthcare Assistant to join our Primary Care team at HMP Stocken, a catergory C men's prison located in Rutland
Hours
The site currently offers Monday - Friday: 7.30am - 5.30pm
Weekends & Bank Holidays - 8.30am - 5.30pm
2 weekends in 4
Salary
This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to 29,723 per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Healthcare Assistant, your responsibilities will vary. You will

• Support the registered nurse in implementing an agreed plan of care in association with the patient and in accordance with instructions and training received whilst promoting safe patient care
• Be willing to develop and apply new skills to maintain and enhance clinical service delivery.

Qualifications required

• NVQ level 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
• A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills and IT literacy
• Ability to work within a busy environment
• Ability to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment
