About Us
We are a rural dispensing and training practice located in the village of Stanton, set in the beautiful Suffolk countryside close to Bury St Edmunds. We serve a stable population of approximately 5,200 patients.
We offer traditional general practice and we will be very supportive towards developing personal interests.
We have a team of three nurses, and work closely with our PCN colleagues who visit the surgery weekly, such as a social prescriber, mental health link worker, mental health practitioner and physiotherapist. We are part of Blackbourne PCN which consists of four rural practices. A diabetes specialist nurse also visits monthly and holds a clinic at the practice.
We have a low home visiting rate shared with all doctors and UCPs.
We have modern purpose built premises, which have recently been extended and provide a bright and airy setting in which to work.
We are forward thinking, and always looking for new ways to do things to ensure we provide the best possible care for our patients. Recently we installed a dispensing robot with a 24-hour medication collection point.
We are rated GOOD across all areas by CQC.
