Job Description

Formally known as GP Care, Cohese Healthcare is an award-winning social enterprise working alongside the NHS and other providers to provide high quality diagnostics and short-term treatment within local communities.
From November 2025 until at least March 2026 we will be running a new DVT service in Swindon and are looking for a Healthcare Assistant to join our team on a casual/bank basis.
We also run a DVT service along with other services in BNSSG (Bristol, North Somerset, South Glos). Please contact us if you would like to find out more about these services.
Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, you are a key member of our clinical team. Your role will include supporting the smooth running of clinics, providing support to patients and carers to ensure they receive a high quality experience of care and you will be working alongside the multidisciplinary team to undertake a range of procedures.

Working with a team consisting of a Nurse, Healthcare Assistant and Sonographer or Vascular Scientist, you will contribute to the delivery of safe and efficient clinics ensuring patient dignity and confidentiality are respected. The ability to use your own initiative, multi-task, and work under pressure are all essential.
