Responsibilities

Assist with daily living activities such as personal care, mobility, and medication reminders Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each service user's needs Maintain accurate records of care provided using IT systems Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure consistent and compassionate care Drive between different care settings or client homes as required (driving licence preferred) Promote a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and reporting any concerns promptly Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, fostering a respectful and caring atmosphere

Requirements

Previous experience working within a care home or home care environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Good command of English, both written and verbal Strong IT skills for documentation and communication purposes Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen empathetically and convey information clearly Valid driving licence is preferred for roles involving travel between locations Ability to work flexibly according to rota requirements, including occasional weekend shifts if necessary A caring attitude with a genuine interest in supporting vulnerable individuals

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
