Fixed Term: 9 months (Day/night/weekends/ bank holidays to be covered)
The Healthcare Assistant works as part of the ward / department team under the supervision of registered nurses and:
Participates in the delivery of patient care.
Contributes towards ward / department organisation.
Supports registered nurses in the provision of a safe and caring environment.
Main duties of the job
Opportunities have arisen for Healthcare Assistant to join our Trust
We are looking for energetic, forward thinking flexible and self-motivated individuals to join the Wheal Prosper Ward.
The post-holder must be able to work in a team and autonomously when required, and be committed to delivering care of a high standard to our patients. Experience in an acute healthcare setting would be an advantage.
You must have excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn and undertake new skills.
Please note that this post involves a rotation of working nights, long weekday and weekend shifts. If you require further information regarding the shift pattern within an individual ward then please contact the manager listed.
