Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals in their own homes care, ensuring that their daily needs are met with dignity and respect. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care, contributing positively to the wellbeing of our clients.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation. Support the implementation of individual care plans, ensuring that each client's specific needs are met. Maintain accurate records of client care and progress, using IT systems as required. Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Drive to various locations as needed to provide home care services. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in healthcare practices. Uphold the highest standards of safety and hygiene within the care environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a healthcare setting is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being able to work independently when required. A valid driving licence is preferred for those providing home care services. Understanding of care plans and the ability to follow them accurately. A genuine passion for helping others and making a positive impact on their lives.
