Who are we looking for?
As a Healthcare Assistant you'll provide personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, medication and applying lotions. You'll also offer physical and emotional support to residents where needed, as well as help with daily or administrative tasks.
Here are some of the responsibilities:
Provide personal carefor each resident following the care plan
Help residents engage in their social and leisure activities to ensure they are stimulated
Maintain general upkeep such as cleaning, restocking and tidying
Protect residents' personal belongings
Keep accurate records on all forms and systems
Report changes of any mental or physical changes in residents to the Senior
Be aware of and upkeep the care home's emergency procedures and security precautions
Uphold the care home's policies
You will be able to live and promote our values in all your actions. You take pride in ensuring your work is always completed to a high standard and can maintain an organised environment.
You'll be comfortable multitasking, working on your own initiative unsupervised, and working with other teams to ensure our residents are happy in their homes.
You will have a positive, compassionate, respectful, and caring approach and good communication and interpersonal skills with an understanding of the needs of older people and the desire to make a positive contribution to the lives of others. What is important is that you have passion, empathy, and dedication to help our residents live their lives to the fullest. We will support you with everything else.
