At
Virprac
, we support GP surgeries across the UK with specialist clinical data services. Our mission is simple: improve patient safety and practice performance through accurate, efficient documentation and coding.
We're growing and are looking for
detail-driven individuals
to join our team of Healthcare Data Processors. You'll play a key role in analysing clinical documents and updating patient records, ensuring the right information is in the right place, first time, every time.
This is a full-training role, but it's not for everyone. It's for people who like to get stuck in, work with precision, and genuinely care about getting things right. We value real-world experience in fast-paced admin or healthcare environments (especially general practice), and a grounded understanding of how to work well with others.
If you've got experience working in primary care, or a background in anatomy, biomedical sciences or medical admin, you'll feel right at home. If not, we're still interested as long as you're focused, curious, and have the grit to learn something new.
We're not the right fit if you're:
Recently graduated with no relevant subject experience
From a secondary care or hospital-only background
Clinically trained and looking to 'dip back in' to patient-facing roles
Seeking a short-term role or not ready to commit to structured training
We are the right fit if you:
Enjoy independent focus work but know how to pull together as a team
Take pride in accuracy, quality and consistency
Are willing to learn clinical systems, medical terminology and coding rules
Bring a respectful, grounded, and quietly ambitious approach
Want to grow in a company where hard work and reliability are genuinely noticed
The Package:
Loyalty bonus after 6 months
Discount schemes (retail, travel, gyms)
Casual dress, free parking, and your birthday off
Cycle to work and volunteer time schemes
Access to an on-site gym and nature reserve
Great team who mix socially and treat each other with respect
Assessment required:
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to complete a skills-based assessment to ensure role suitability.
