Field Based - Scotland and Northern Ireland | Full-time | PermanentWe are currently searching for an experienced and strategically focused account management professional to join us as our Healthcare Partnership Manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.The Healthcare Partnership Manager (HPM) is responsible for leading the adoption, implementation, and pull-through of STADA UK's biosimilar and specialty medicines across Scotland and Northern Ireland, predominantly in secondary care, with an enhanced national remit. The HPM will work to achieve strategic sales growth, optimal formulary positioning, influence national guidance and support clinician education through impactful engagement with key decision-makers across Health Boards (HBs), National Procurement Bodies and other strategic groups.The core focus of the role is centred on secondary care hospital working targeting key accounts to drive the adoption of our Specialty Renal products and our biosimilar portfolio. Additionally, as a key national lead, this role will include oversight of national and regional activity across Scotland and Northern Ireland. The role requires a strategic, solution-oriented mindset focused on Health-board level working, national stakeholder partnerships, and coordinated execution across the entire healthcare system.The HPM will report to the National Business Manager and act as a central contact point for NHS Scotland and NHS Northern Ireland, working alongside Medical, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial colleagues to unlock opportunities at a broader system level.How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Deep understanding of NHS systems across Scotland and Northern Ireland, including policy, formulary, access, and procurement structures in NHS Scotland and NHS Northern Ireland.
  • Strong awareness of the Scottish Medicines Consortium (SMC), National Procurement Scotland, Medicines Management Committees, and other national bodies.
  • Robust knowledge of healthcare commissioning and clinical networks at a national and regional level.
  • Act as the go-to expert on the structural and policy differences between Scotland, Northern Ireland, and England, and translate these into impactful commercial strategies.
  • Expertise in managing complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders and geographies.
  • Develop strong, long-term relationships with clinical opinion leaders, procurement leads, medicines management teams, and pharmacy influencers.
  • Competence in interpreting and leveraging clinical guidance, SMC/TA decisions and devolved policy for competitive advantage.
  • Clear understanding of the ABPI code of conduct and the requirement for compliance at all times.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Market Access to ensure a seamless and coordinated approach across regions and brands
What We Are Looking For:xc2xb7 Educated to degree level in preferably a science subject.xc2xb7 ABPI qualified, with a clear understanding of the ABPI code of conduct and the requirement for compliance at all times.xc2xb7 Ideally with over 3 years branded (ethical) pharmaceutical sales experience in selling to key stakeholders across HBs, National Stakeholders and Clinical Leads.xc2xb7 Ideally with experience selling biosimilar medicines and/or Renal medicines.xc2xb7 Demonstrated sales success within pharmaceutical industry.xc2xb7 Good networks and relationships within disease areas would be an advantage.xc2xb7 Proficiency in market analysis, including gathering competitor intelligence and customer insights.xc2xb7 Account planning and project management skills to drive execution of account plans, initiatives, and deliver pull-through to achieve sales targets.xc2xb7 Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence various stakeholders.xc2xb7 A champion of ethics, promoting integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism at all times.How we care for youAt Thornton & Ross our purpose Caring for people's health as a trusted partner motivates us every day.
